Product Designer (UI/UX)
Design products used by people very unlike you — farmers, first-time smartphone users, field staff. If you have ever watched someone struggle with something you designed and found it fascinating rather than painful, we should talk.
What you will do
- Run research and usability sessions with real users, including in the field
- Design flows and high-fidelity screens across web and mobile
- Build and maintain design systems in Figma with matching code tokens
- Design for multilingual interfaces and varying literacy levels
- Work directly with engineers through implementation, not just handoff
What we are looking for
- Portfolio of shipped product work with the reasoning explained
- Strong Figma craft including components, variants and auto-layout
- Experience designing for mobile-first Indian audiences
- Understand accessibility as a requirement rather than a checklist
- Comfortable defending a decision and equally comfortable dropping it
Nice to have
- Motion design or prototyping depth
- Front-end skills (HTML, CSS, or Flutter)
- Illustration or brand design capability
These are genuinely optional. We would rather hire someone strong on the core and curious about the rest than someone who ticks every box.

Intro conversation
Thirty minutes with someone who does the work you would be doing. Mutual — you should be interviewing us just as hard.
Practical exercise
A small, paid, take-home task close to real work, timeboxed to a few hours. No algorithm puzzles that neither of us will use again.
Deep dive
We walk through your exercise together, talk architecture and trade-offs, and discuss how you work with other people.
Offer
A clear written offer with compensation, scope and expectations. We do not do exploding deadlines or pressure tactics.
