An IT company that builds its own software.
Javinex Technologies LLP is a boutique product engineering firm based in Bengaluru. We take on client work across web, mobile, AI and cloud — and we run two products of our own, which is where most of our opinions come from.
Our story
Javinex started from a simple frustration. Indian businesses are surrounded by software vendors, and yet good software remains hard to buy. The common pattern is familiar to anyone who has tried: a senior architect fronts the pitch, junior engineers deliver the work, the estimate quietly doubles, and what arrives is a product nobody wants to maintain — least of all the people who built it.
We wanted to build the opposite kind of firm. Small, senior, and accountable — where the person who scopes your project is the person who writes the code, and where we would rather turn work away than take it on badly.
The other half of the idea was that we should build products ourselves, not only for clients. Running your own software changes you as an engineer. You stop treating launch as the finish line. You develop strong opinions about notification policy, about inference cost, about what actually breaks at 2 a.m. And you become far more careful about what you promise, because you have been on the receiving end of your own promises.
Today that means two products in market. KisanGyan is a voice-first AI farming companion, live on Google Play, serving farmers across India in eight Indian languages plus English. Nivista is an AI interior visualisation product for Indian homes, currently in beta. Both run on infrastructure we pay for, get updated by us, and break in ways we have to fix.
Alongside them we take on client work — web platforms, mobile apps, AI systems, cloud infrastructure, design and long-term support. The same team does both. That is deliberate: it is how the client work stays grounded and how the products keep improving.

Our vision
To build software from India that holds up anywhere — and to prove it with our own products. Technology that works for a farmer in a field with no signal is technology that works for everyone. That is the standard we want our name to mean.

Shipping beats presenting
Working software in a real environment every week. Decks and status reports are a poor substitute for something you can open on your phone.
Say the uncomfortable thing early
If a deadline is unrealistic, a feature is a bad idea, or your project does not need AI, you will hear it from us at the start — when it is still cheap to act on.
You own everything
Code, infrastructure, accounts, keys and documentation live in your organisation from day one. Our leverage should be that you want us, never that you are stuck with us.
Boring where it counts
PostgreSQL, typed contracts, containers, one command to deploy. We spend our novelty budget on your product, not on our infrastructure.
Design for the hardest user
The oldest phone, the slowest network, the least confident reader. Build for them and the product gets better for everyone above them.
Security is not a phase
Secrets management, least privilege, dependency scanning and tested backups are part of the build, not a hardening sprint someone schedules and then cuts.

Discover
We start by understanding the business, not the feature list. Who is the user, what decision are they trying to make, what does success look like in numbers, and what is genuinely fixed versus assumed. Usually this reshapes the brief.

Design
Flows before pixels, then high-fidelity screens covering every state that matters — including the empty, offline and error states most projects discover late. Architecture is decided here too, and written down with its trade-offs.

Build
Two-week iterations, something in a real environment every single week, and a demo you can use rather than a status report you have to read. Typed contracts and CI keep the frontend and backend honest with each other.

Ship
Launch is a process, not a date: staged rollout, monitoring and alerting live before the first user, store submissions prepared against current policy, and a rollback path that has been tested rather than assumed.

Scale
After launch the questions change: what do users actually do, where does it cost too much, what breaks first at ten times the load. We instrument, review monthly, and plan the next quarter from evidence.

What actually makes us different.
We run our own products in production
KisanGyan is live on Google Play; Nivista is in beta. We carry pagers for our own software, pay our own cloud bills, and get our own apps rejected by store review. That experience is why our estimates account for the work that agencies routinely forget.
Senior people do the work
The engineer in your kickoff call is the engineer writing the code. We are deliberately small, we do not staff projects with a senior architect for the pitch and juniors for delivery, and we would rather decline work than dilute it.
We build for Bharat, not just India
Multilingual interfaces, offline-first sync, voice-led UX and entry-level Android performance are not specialisms we advertise — they are how we build by default, because our own users needed them.
AI we can actually defend
Evaluation harnesses, versioned prompts, guardrails, cost models and provider-agnostic abstractions. We have shipped LLM features to real users in nine languages and know exactly which parts break.
Fixed scope, or a real team — your choice
Some work suits a fixed-price project with a defined outcome. Some suits a monthly dedicated team. We will tell you which one your project actually is instead of selling you the one with better margins.
